What we do not collect
PaieClaire requires no account, no email address and no personal information to use its calculators. The amounts you enter (salaries) are processed entirely in your browser: they are not sent to a server, not stored, and not shared. There is no user database.
Your province
So we can suggest the right province, our host (Cloudflare) determines your approximate region from your IP address and returns it to your browser. PaieClaire does not keep this information; if you select a province yourself, that choice is stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device.
Audience measurement
If a privacy-respecting audience measurement tool is enabled, it receives only aggregate statistics (page views, approximate country) and none of the amounts you enter.
Advertising
PaieClaire may display advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) to fund the free service. Ad networks may use cookies under their own policies; PaieClaire does not send them any amount you enter.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical logs (IP address, user agent) for network security and reliability, under its own privacy policy.
